Gonzales Healthcare Systems and Gonzales County, as well as city partners, will no longer be using a waitlist to fill appointments for COVID-19 vaccine clinics, according to statement issued by GHS Monday.

Here is that statement:

"Over the last few weeks, Gonzales Healthcare Systems, along with County and City partners, have utilized a waitlist for those individuals wanting the COVID-19 vaccine While our waitlist has been effective, we will be moving away from the waitlist, effective immediately, and all future vaccine clinics will be available using a vaccine clinic registration link posted prior to each clinic. This will allow all individuals over the age of 18 to have the opportunity to sign up for these vaccine clinics as they are scheduled."

Those who have previously submitted their information to the waitlist but have not received a vaccine should register at this link, to schedule an appointment for the next clinic: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0C4CACAD22A2F5C61-33121

This clinic will be held Wednesday, March 31, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the J.B. Wells Expo center. Any future clinics will also utilize similar registration links to allow for appointment scheduling.
