Cuero season sweeps Lady Apaches

The Gonzales Lady Apaches played their second to last road game against their rivals the Cuero Lady Gobblers Friday, Jan 24.

The Lady Apaches were handed a season sweep by Cuero in a, 68-33, loss.

Cuero shutdown the Lady Apaches’ offense keeping them to single digits in three out of four quarters.

The Lady Apaches can clinch a playoff spot with two scenarios; if the Gonzales beats either San Antonio JFK or San Antonio Memorial and they can secure third place with a season sweep of both San Antonio schools.

The Lady Apaches hosted the JFK Lady Rockets Tuesday, Jan. 28 for the final home game of the 2024-25 season.

The Lady Apaches will hit the road Tuesday, Feb 4, for their final regular season game against the San Antonio Memorial Minutewomen.
