Donate a Thanksgiving basket to a senior in need

Posted

Country Village Square Apartments is holding a Thanksgiving food drive for residents. Thanksgiving is a time to really reflect on everything in your life for which you are thankful.

One of the most important parts of this season is gratitude. Small gestures of kindness, like donating a food basket, can make a significant impact on someone’s life. If you would like to bless a senior in need at the apartment complex, here is what you may include in your box/basket:

• Grocery gift card for turkey.

• Grocery gift card for ham.

• Canned green beans.

• Canned cranberry sauce.

• Canned corn.

• Cornbread mix/stuffing mix.

• Canned cream of mushroom soup.

• Cans, jars or packets of gravy.

• Crispy onion toppers.

• Boxed macaroni and cheese.

• Canned yams/marshmallows.

• Cake or cookie mix.

• Packet of instant potatoes.

• Tea or lemonade mix.

Please turn in baskets to the office at Country Village by Monday, Nov. 20, or call the resident service coordinator to arrange a pick-up. Thank you for blessing a senior in need.
