Dorothy V. Brown

Dorothy V. Brown, age 86 of Seguin, passed away on December 24, 2016.

Visitation will be held at Tres Hewell Mortuary on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 5 pm - 7 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Jeremy Roy officiating. Interment will follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.

Dorothy was born November 22, 1930 in Bebe, Texas to Lexton and Ola (O’Neal) Ivey. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Brown, her daughter, Janice Mills, her parents and her brothers, Braxton Ivey and Mervin Ivey and his wife Opal Lee. Survivors include her sons, David Nesbit and wife Wendy, and Mike Nesbit and wife Lucy; daughter, Nancy Woodward and husband Henry; son-in-law, Gary Mills; grandchildren, Tammy Littlefield, James Mills and wife Candee, Julia Gomes, Cassie Bell and husband Waylon, Steven Nesbit and wife Tara, Amy Riojas and husband Pete, Melissa Gresham and Julio Morales, Laura Umansky and husband Michael, Brooke Smith and husband Russell, Zachary Nesbit, Bradley Woodward, Mike Mitchell, and Craig Schneider and wife Sherry; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sister-in-law, Florene Bauer; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and many friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be James Mills, Steven Nesbit, Bradley Woodward, Zachary Nesbit, Jordan Littlefield, Cory Nesbit, Keegan Riojas, and Meagan Littlefield.
