Edna Carolina Koehler went to be with the Lord on November 18, 2005. She was born on September 3, 1912 in Converse, Texas to Anton and Ida Schumann. Edna was a long time resident of Fashing and Cibolo, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Adolph Koehler; brothers, Herbert and Milton Schumann, sisters, Melania Schwab, Irma Krueger, and twin Mary Scheel.

She is survived by daughters, Caroleen and husband Michael Durben, Betty Joyce and husband Timothy Willemin, sons, Lenroy and wife, Mary, Shelby and wife, Margorie, James and wife, Irene, Larry and wife, Lynda, Calvin and wife Vicky, and Dennis and wife Darlene.

She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, and 44 great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, Adolph Scheel, numerous, nephews, nieces and other relatives.

Friends are invited to visitation Friday November 25, 2005 from 5-9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2005 at Good Shepard Catholic Church 1065 E. Live Oak Schertz, Texas 78154. and the Rite of Committal will follow at the Selma Cemetery #1.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be sent to Good Shepard Catholic Church in Schertz, Texas or a charity of your choice.
