GNLC Foundation receives $10K donation for playscape

The Gonzales Noon Lions Club Foundation has received a donation in the amount of $10,000 to help fund the Lions Club All-Inclusive Playscape!

State Sen. Lois Kolkhorst recently had a conversation with the Amazon Community Engagement representative regarding non-profit organizations that do meaningful work that have a lasting impact on the Gonzales community.

She spoke about all the great work being done by the Gonzales Noon Lions Club. Kolkhorst also spoke about the Lions Park project that the foundation is currently raising funds for to support local kids and families.

On behalf of Amazon and Senator Kolkhorst, “We know the work you do is important and we want to recognize and support your efforts with a $10,000 donation to the Gonzales Noon Lions Club Foundation. We thank you for truly making a difference in the lives of local families. We hope this donation helps you continue the important work you’re doing in the local community.”

The Gonzales Noon Lions Club Foundation graciously accepted their investment in the project. As the project is nearing completion, mark your calendars for the ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening of the park, Dec. 12,  at 4 p.m. Come help the Lions Club share their gift to the community.
