Gonzales police arrest man for assault

Gonzales police arrested a man Wednesday, March 23, for allegedly violating an emergency protective order and assaulting a female victim.

The Gonzales Police Department responded to a call at about 9:11 a.m. Wednesday that a female victim had been physically assaulted. During their investigation, they discovered David Alan Gloria, 42, Gonzales, had allegedly assaulted the victim in violation of an active emergency protective order.

A search began for Gloria that continued until he was located at about 5 p.m. and placed under arrest and then booked into the Gonzales County Jail.
