Gwendolyn Smith

Gwendolyn Smith went on her journey on the afternoon of August 25, 2022, surrounded by her family.

She was born on January 31, 1963 in San Antonio, Texas.

She graduated from Gonzales High School and worked for the City of Gonzales for twenty-one years.

Gwen had a passion for helping others. Her hobbies were working outdoors, and working on cars.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Elsie Rosalee Smith, her father, Vernon Smith, and two brothers, Melvin Smith and Robert Smith.

She leaves to cherish her memory: three children, Charlie Smith (Tamara), Walter Smith (Amanda) and Andrea Smith (Marcus); three grandchildren; Jacob Reyes, Aiden Reyes and Savannah Smith, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
