Lady Apaches fall to Victoria West in basketball scrimmage

The Gonzales Lady Apaches basketball team is back on the court and went on the road against the Victoria West Lady Warriors Tuesday, Oct. 29.
The Lady Apaches fell to Victoria West, 60-42, in the scrimmage.
Senior Bella Aguero led the team with 22 points and eight steals against Victoria West; and she and Kilee Schwausch tied with four assists each.
McKenzie Gillette led the team with 12 rebounds against the Lady Warriors and Amaya Ibarra led the team with two blocks.
The Lady Apaches will host Bandera for the season opener Friday, Nov. 1 at 4:30 p.m.
