Lady Apaches remain in second after shutout win

The Gonzales Lady Apaches maintained their hold on second place in District 27-4A with a 2-0 win at Apache Field over San Antonio Memorial on Friday, Feb. 28.

With the win, Gonzales improved to 8-2 in district play, behind undefeated first-place La Vernia. For the season, they have an overall record of 12-4-2.

The Lady Apaches traveled to Yoakum on Tuesday, March 4, and will travel to Cole on Friday, March 7. They will close out the regular season at home against Young Women’s Leadership Academy on Tuesday, March 11.
