Linda Ruth was born to Dale and Sue Parker on March 8, 1948, in Gonzales, Texas. 

She passed away peacefully on October 3, 2026, surrounded by family.

Linda married the love of her life, David Williams, on June 20, 1964.

They were blessed to have spent 51 years together. They were blessed with the birth of their son, Michael David, in 1965. 

Linda began her proudest role in life when she became Nana to her grandson, David Garrett, in September 2019. She cherished every moment she spent with him, reading stories, helping with schoolwork, attending his sporting events, and countless hours of playtime.

Linda took great pride in everything she did, especially when it came to family. She enjoyed celebrating the holidays, traveling to casinos on birthday trips with her sisters and brother-in-law, and loved vacationing with her son and his family. She also found great pleasure attending sporting events of her great nephew, Parker.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael David (Sheralyn), grandson David Garrett, sister and brother-in-law, Ginger Kelly (Jody), sister Terry Baldwin, niece Ursula Baldwin Perales (Mando), nephews Will Richter, Owen Baldwin (Heather), great nephews Parker Baldwin, Hayden Baldwin, Hudson Baldwin, great niece Oliviah Baldwin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Sue Parker, her husband David and brother Dale Parker Jr. (Dink).

Linda will always be remembered as a loving mother, Nana, Auntie, and the best sister and friend anyone could ask for.

A celebration of life memorial will be scheduled at a later date.
