Nixon-Smiley Education Foundation knows when to “hold ‘em”

The Nixon-Smiley Education Foundation invites the public to “go all in for education” at their sixth annual Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament at the Nixon-Smiley Livestock Show Barn on Saturday, Sept. 28,  5-10 p.m.

All guests must be 21 or older to attend, with a catered dinner served at 5 p.m. plus drinks (alcoholic and non) as well as eligibility for door prizes included with the entry ticket.

The top nine players will receive prizes. Everyone in the community is invited to attend, and all proceeds will benefit the Nixon-Smiley Education Foundation, which directly benefits and supports teachers and staff in the Nixon-Smiley Consolidated school district through grants.

Tickets are $100 each, including dinner and drinks.
