State domino tournament comes to Hallettsville

The 71st Texas State Championship Domino Tournament will be held Sunday, Jan. 14, 2024 at the Knights of Columbus (K of C) Hall in Hallettsville, Texas. Registration will begin at 7 a.m. and playing will begin at 9 a.m. sharp. Entry fee is $20 per person in this double-elimination tourney.

A consolation tournament will be held immediately for the first two settings of losers. The top five winners in the championship bracket will receive plaques and cash. Two individuals will also be inducted into the Texas Domino Hall of Fame.

A barbecue chicken dinner will be served in the hall for players and spectators. There will also be plates to go for drive-through customers for $13 each. Short orders and refreshments will be served during the tournament.
