Victoria M. Cobler

Victoria M. Cobler went to be with the Lord December 4, 2021. She was born December 23, 1925, in Waelder, Texas to Juan R. & Petra Delgado Martinez. On April 15, 1995 she married Ernest Franklin Cobler in Gonzales. Victoria was a longtime member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church of Waelder, were she was a member of the St. Patrick’s Guadalupanas.

Survivors are her four daughters, Beatris Arriaga of Blackwell, Oklahoma, Andrea Gonzales of Luling, Texas, Cecilia & Jesse Rodriguez Sr. of Petersburg, Texas, and Dolores Wilson of Blackwell, Oklahoma; sons, Felix & Melody Villalovos of Galena Park, Texas, and Paul & Patricia Villalovos Jr. of Galena Park, Texas; 15 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and a sister, Paula Wiggins of Waelder, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Vicente Villalovos; two sisters, Georgia Meza and Isadora Cedilio; and four brothers, Santos Martinez, Seferino Martinez, Bonefacio Martinez & Larry Martinez.

Pallbearers are Kenny Hernandez, Daniel Martinez, Eric Martinez, Michael Rodriguez, Jesse Rodriguez Jr., Tina Rodriguez. Honorary pall bearer is Armando Martinez.

A Mass was held for her at 10 a.m. Tuesday December 7, at St. Patricks Catholic Church of Waelder. Burial will follow in the Waelder Community Cemetery. Services under the direction of O’Bannon Funeral Home, 210 S. Laurel, Luling, Texas 78648. (830)875-5713.
