Eastside Baptist Church hosts Community School Supply Drive

School is near back in session and Eastside Baptist Church is doing their part helping students in need of school supplies.

Eastside will be hosting the Gonzales Community School Supply Drive and Giveaway Saturday, Aug. 3 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church on 701 Seydler St.

School supplies needed include composition books, crayons, notebook paper, map colors, pencils and folders.

Local businesses and community can get involved by adopting a classroom, and with the donation, a teacher will receive a $50 gift card to purchase school supplies for their classroom.

There are various drop off locations located at Walmart, Holly Jeanne Boutique Victoria College, Crew, Next Concept, and Person’s Flower Shop.
