Gonzales cross country competes in Lockhart

The Gonzales cross country team traveled to Lockhart for their latest meet Saturday, Aug. 31.

The varsity Lady Apaches had runners finishing in the Top 50 at Lockhart; Jordyn Gonzales finished 14th, Yaritza Angel finished 16th, and Sophia Castro finished 45th.

In the JV girls division, Viviana Barrientos, Alexia Kuntschik, Yasmin Barrientos and Jazzlyn Castillo finished in the top 100.

In the boys division, the varsity Apaches had four runners finished in the top 25; Ckristofer Ramos 17th, Carlos Pedraza 20th, Homero Ruiz 21st and Diego Leon 22nd.

The cross country teams will travel to Seguin Friday, Sept. 6 for the Canyon Cougar Invitational.
