Guadalupe Gonzales

It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Guadalupe “Lupe” Chavez Gonzales. Born on April 20, 1972, in Austin, Texas, Lupe departed us on October 26, 2023, at the age of 51 in Live Oak, Texas. His life was a testament to love, kindness, and unwavering dedication.

Lupe was a cherished friend and confidant to many, always ready with a listening ear and a comforting presence. His warm heart and gentle soul touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Lupe’s genuine compassion and ability to bring joy to others will forever be etched in the memories of those who were fortunate enough to share in his life.

Left to mourn his loss are his beloved mother, Anita Gonzales, and his five siblings, Robin, Jessica, Ramiro, Ernesto, and Juan Gonzales. Lupe’s passing also leaves behind his devoted wife, Stefanie Baker-Gonzales and their two children, Noah and Zoey Gonzales. May they find solace in the love and cherished moments they shared with Lupe, as they navigate this difficult journey of grief.

Lupe is preceded in death by his father, Juan Gonzales Sr., and his stepfather, Margarito De La Cruz. Their spirits now find solace in the eternal embrace, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever be treasured.

In his professional life, Lupe excelled as an Agriculture Supervisor, Heavy Equipment, and Commercial Vehicle Operator. His commitment to his work and unwavering dedication earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and peers.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Lupe found solace and joy in simple pleasures. Playing cards, watching football, and soccer brought him moments of respite and allowed him to connect with loved ones over shared interests. His enthusiasm for these hobbies was contagious, creating lasting memories and bonds that will endure.

Lupe will forever be remembered as a loving son, devoted sibling, adoring husband, and nurturing father. His legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering kindness will continue to inspire and guide those whose lives he touched.
