Main Street Roundup offers shopping, specials, drink samples

Want to wet your whistle while taking in the shopping and dining that downtown Gonzales offers? Why not take part in the Main Street Roundup, Gonzales Main Street’s newest event, which will be held Thursday, May 25.

Set the week of the Texas Junior High Rodeo Association finals in Gonzales, this event aims to encourage rodeo families and locals alike to explore all the Gonzales Main Street District has to offer. Come check out downtown businesses and enjoy a cold beverage while doing it — this is the event for you!

An event fee of $25 sets you on the route to fun with a T-shirt, punch card, raffle ticket and refillable beverage cup. Locations along the way will have exclusive sales and dining specials for participants. The fun is for ages 21 and up and will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, May 25.

The event is similar to last year’s Rum Run crawl, which also was hosted by Gonzales Main Street.
