VOLLEYBALL: Waelder drops straight sets to Ganado

The Waelder Lady Wildcats volleyball team fell at home to Ganado in straight sets Tuesday, Sept. 7.
The final scores of the three sets were 18-25, 19-25 and 15-25.

Elizabeth Ramos-Gutierrez tried to keep things close for the Lady Wildcats by going on a five-point serving run, but the Lady Indians pulled out the victory.

Zyriah Toran led Waelder with four kills, while Jalissiah Thompson registered her first block of the season, according to coach Tionne Graves-Brown.
