Anthony Rene DeLuna

Anthony Rene DeLuna, 41, was born October 17, 1983, to Jane DeLuna Escobedo and Russ Flores in Gonzales, Texas. He passed away unexpectedly on January 15, 2025.

He attended Gonzales High School, where he played baseball. His family and teammates knew him as a very good pitcher. He could often be found on the baseball field with his friends when he had free time.

As an adult, his love of the game was still strong, but he enjoyed watching and sideline coaching. His favorite team was the Atlanta Braves.

No matter what the situation Anthony always had a smile on his face and was ready to crack a joke.

He is survived by his mother, Jane Escobedo (Mario), and Father Russ Flores. Son, Mark Navarro, daughter, Maddison, Analisa, and Addison DeLuna. Two beautiful granddaughters, Ivy and Elians Navarro. Brother, Russ Flores, Jr. and Cruz Flores. Sisters, Ruth Flores, Rochelle Fores, Miranda Alvarez, Tiffany Enriquez, and Reanna Flores, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Anthony will be greatly missed by all of us.
