Betty Jane "Susie" Pearson

Betty Jane "Susie" Pearson, 82, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025, in Brenham, Texas. She was born on August 6, 1943, in San Antonio, Texas, to Will and Lillian Dotson. 

Susie was a devoted wife to her husband, Donald Ray Pearson Sr. She provided a strong, supportive mobile home life away from home to a traveling working man who had a love for company and good cheer. On occasion, she was her husband's welder helper. Susie loved her dogs and cats and drinking Cokes while working in the yard. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and beloved bonus mother. 

Susie survived by her grandchild, Cameron Lee Cougot, and partner Sarah Manning. Stepchildren Donald Ray Pearson Jr. and wife Rhonda, Roger Pearson and wife Dalene, and Lance Pearson and wife Shiela. Grandchildren Ranell Riddle, Robin Hubbard, Jordan Rothermel, Shawn Pearson, Candice Hahn, Kalina Pearson, Ashlyn Pearson, and great-grandchild.Jayce Kyle Cougot. Her Son-In-Law, Scott Bates, and wife Stacy. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty years, Donald Ray Pearson Sr., her daughter Stacy Franklin, her parents, Will and Lilian Dotson, and her brothers Paul Dotson and Lester Dotson. 

There will be a graveside service at Gonzales Memorial Park Cemetery on August 28, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Seydler-Hill Funeral Home, Gonzales, TX.
