Beverly Ann (Pekar) Bond, 63, of Gonzales, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on June 10, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on August 7, 1962, in Gonzales, to Daniel and Dolores (Knezek) Pekar.

Beverly married her best friend, Billy Joe Bond, at the Gonzales county courthouse on August 30, 2006. Together they continued to build a life on their ranch in southern Gonzales county.

Beverly dedicated many years to homemaking, Bingo, fishing, cooking, raising cattle and children, but, most importantly being an amazing grandmother or “BooBoo” to all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was known for her warm smile and infectious laugh. Family gatherings were always filled with laughter and joy. There was never a dull moment around BooBoo, as she never met a stranger. And let’s just say if she didn’t like you, well she’d let you know! With that said, Beverly’s door was always open to family and friends. Those who knew her best will always remember her raising a glass and saying, “I wish you well and those who don’t can go to hell.” This simple phrase captured her love for life and togetherness.

She is survived by her husband Billy Joe Bond of Gonzales; her children Valerie Cantu (Husband Steven) of Gonzales; Jeffery Pekar, and Danny Pekar of Gonzales; her 8 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren; and 3 sisters: Betty Jo Contreras, Susan Garcia, and Jeanette Pekar.

She was preceded in death by her parents Daniel Sr. and Dolores Pekar, her sister Kathleen Balderas, and her brother Daniel Pekar Jr.

Visitation will be held 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at Seydler-Hill Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary being recited at 9:30 a.m. Funeral services will start at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Seydler-Hill Funeral Home 906 St. Paul St., Gonzales.
