Charles Clinton Baker passed away Friday, February 28th, at the age of 91. He was born in Gonzales, Texas on June 28, 1933, to parents Otto Clinton Baker and Olga Schaeg Baker.
Charles married Dorothy Baker on January 18th, 1958. They were married for 66 years before he became a widower. Charles worked as a roughneck before retiring to take care of his family and maintain the Baker homestead.
Charles is survived by his great-granddaughter Heavan Alexandria Lockhart, son William Baker, and son Richard (Marian) Baker. He is also survived by his grandchildren Shay (Alex) Harmon, Clint (Jasmine) Baker, Lacey (Greg) Kuntschik, and great-grandchildren Zane, Jaclyn, Isaac, Kasen, Cayde, Tatum and Joel.
He is preceded in death by his parents, daughters Patsy Baker and Karen Pena, son Jack Baker, grandson Jeremy Baker, grandaughter Trisha Reidel, and his brother Bryan Baker.
A visitation will be held at Seydler – Hill Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 04, 2025, from 9:00am to 11:00am, with a funeral service starting at 11:00am. Interment will proceed at Ebenezer Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Zane Archer, Clinton Baker, Greg Kuntschik Jr., Darryl Wiley, Scott Wiley, and Sedrick Braimer.
Honorary pallbearers are William Baker, Rick Baker, Alex Harmon, and Gary Baker.
