Frank Allen Craven, 37, left us far too soon on April 26, 2026, but he leaves behind a lifetime of stories, laughter, and memories that won’t be forgotten. Frank was born March 18, 1989 in Seguin to John Colwell Craven, Jr and Linda Gay Cleveland.
Frank was the kind of person who kept to himself, a bit of a loner by nature, but if you were lucky enough to be in his circle, you knew just how deeply he cared. He didn’t always say it out loud—but he showed it in his own way, and that meant everything.
He had a love for music, horses, and good food—especially Italian. If there was a plate of pasta in front of him, you knew he was in a good place. And if there was music playing, chances are Frank was feeling right at home. He also had a way of staying connected in his own style—he loved sending funny videos to people on Facebook, making sure he could get a laugh out of you even from a distance.
Growing up, we found plenty of ways to get into trouble together—some of those stories are probably better left untold—but they’re the kind of memories that stick with you for life. Frank lived on his own terms, and he lived fully in those moments.
He also carried that well-known Craven temper—he was the kind of man who’d “fight a buzz saw” without a second thought—but behind that fire was a loyal heart and a deep sense of care for the people he loved. He especially loved his momma very much, and he had a special place in his heart for his Aunty D, and that love never wavered.
It brings comfort to know that Frank is now reunited with his Meme and Uncle Danny, no doubt raising a little hell and keeping everyone on their toes just like always.
Frank will be remembered for his toughness, his quiet kindness, his sense of humor, and the bond he shared with those closest to him. He may be gone from our sight, but he’ll always be with us in the stories we tell, the music we hear, and the memories we carry forward.
Frank is survived by his parents, John Craven, Jr, and Linda Cleveland, brother, Matthew Craven, grandmother, Sandra Atkinson, aunt, Diane Sloan, uncles, Matt Atkinson (Cheryl), Frank Lee Atkinson (Laura) and Eddie Craven (Shannon), and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Bessie Cleveland, and Pat Craven, grandfathers, John Craven, Sr, and Frank Atkinson.
