GONZALES COUNTY FOOTBALL TEAMS BACK IN ACTION

Texas High School Football is back in Gonzales County as the Gonzales Apaches and Nixon-Smiley Mustangs kick off their season with two-a-days Monday, Aug. 5. The Apaches finished last season as bi-district finalists and are looking to improve from the previous season. The Mustangs under new head coach Paul Kirby are entering a new era Nixon-Smiley football for the 2024 season.
