Jackeline Yvette Almazan

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister, and aunt Jackeline Yvette Almazan who entered heaven April 2, 2026 at the age of 19. Jackie was born on September 20, 2006 in Gonzales, Texas to Maria Soccoro Almazan and Rodolfo Almazan Rodriguez.

Jackie graduated from Gonzales High School with the Class of 2025. Jackie’s spirit burned brightly and everywhere she went, her big bright smile would brighten every room, and her joyous laughter could be heard a mile away. Jackie was a deeply caring and loving person, and she was the glue that held her family together. Just being near her caused family members to fight over who got to take Jackie with them for the day. Jackie enjoyed listening to music in her room, dancing with her parents, and playing with her nieces and nephews. She had a tremendous love for her dogs and found great peace in playing with them. Jack-Jack, as her family called her, had such strong love for everyone around her that there was never a time Jackie would leave without messing with them. It was the way the family would show their love for one another. Her passing has left a hole in the hearts of her family, but they find comfort knowing she is in heaven with her oldest sister, waiting to reunite with all her family again.

Jackie is survived by her parents, Rodolfo and Maria, sisters, Maria Martiniez, Dulce Marie Espino (Gilbert), Giselle Almazan (Jose Rodriguez), and Belinda Almazan, brothers, Francisco Javier Almazan (Rosa), and Rodolfo Almazan, Jr., and her beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Angelica Almazan.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Wednesday, April 8, 2026 in Seydler-Hill Funeral Home with Prayers of the Holy Rosary following at 7 pm. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 am Thursday, April 9, 2026 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Jason Martini as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. James Catholic Cemetery.
