Javier Cansino

Javier Cansino, 39, of Austin, Texas, passed away on August 15th, 2025.

He was the beloved son of Janie Irene Medel and Rodriquez Cansino, and the cherished stepson of Avelino Medel. Javier was a devoted brother to Avelino Medel II and Fernando Cansino.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Sacred Hearts Catholic Church, 426 St. John Street, Gonzales, Texas 78629. Rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by the funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and prayer.
