La Vernia shuts out Apaches in game one of series

The Gonzales Apaches traveled on the road Friday, April 12 to La Vernia to kick off the two-game district series against the Bears.
La Vernia shut out the Apaches in game one, 10-0.
The Apaches got on base two times with two hits.
Gonzales returned home Tuesday, April 16 for game two and the series finale against La Venria.
The Apaches will conclude their 2024 baseball season with a two-game series against their rival Cuero; game one is set at home Friday, April 19 and game two is in Cuero Tuesday, April 23.
First pitch for both games are set at 7 p.m.
