Lady Apaches hit the road to compete in Schulenburg volleyball tournament

The Gonzales Lady Apaches traveled to Schulenburg Thursday, Aug. 22 for their last tournament of the season.
The Lady Apaches took on Schulenburg, Edna, Yoakum, Shiner, Brazos, and Hallettsville.
The Lady Apaches went 1-6 in the tournament; beating Brazos in three sets and losing to Schulenburg, Yoakum, Shiner, Edna, Hallettsville, and Brazos (first match).
Gonzales will have a rematch against the Edna Cowgirls in a non-district game Tuesday, Sept. 3.
The Lady Apaches next three matches after Edna: Friday, Sept. 6: at Weimar, Tuesday, Sept. 10: at Victoria St. Joseph, and Friday, Sept. 13: vs. Nixon-Smiley.
