Lady Apaches shut out Rice Consolidated

The Gonzales Lady Apaches were on the road Friday, March 8 for a non-district match against Rice Consolidated.

The Lady Apaches shut out Rice, 15-0, in four innings and the offense recorded 15 hits and 11 RBIs in the win.

The Lady Apaches stole a base six times and, on defense, the fielders recorded 12 putouts and a double play.

Gonzales went back on the road to Cibolo Monday, March 11 and fell to them, 14-4, but quickly rebounded with a district opening win over La Vernia.

The Lady Apaches head back on the road for their last non-district game against Weimar Thursday, March 14.

First pitch is set for 7:30 p.m. in Weimar.
