Lady Mustangs compete in Beeville Tournament

The Nixon-Smiley Lady Mustangs traveled Beeville Friday, Aug. 23 for a two-day tournament.
The Lady Mustangs beat George West twice in the tournament, according to Max Preps.
In the first match, the Lady Mustangs swept George West in two sets and in the second tournament match between the two teams, Nixon-Smiley beat George West in three sets.
The Lady Mustangs will head back on the road to Runge for their last tournament of the season.
Nixon-Smiley will return home for a non-district match against the Yoakum Lady Bulldogs Tuesday, Sept. 3.
The next three matches after Yoakum: Friday, Sept 6: vs. Three Rivers, Tuesday, Sept. 10: at Pettus and Friday, Sept. 13 at Gonzales.
