Michael Lee Cosper,52, of Gonzales Loving Father, Brother, Son and Husband, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2025.

Michael was born August 2, 1973 to Beverly and Jerry Cosper in Lampasas, TX.  Michael married the love of his life Justine on October 9, 1993, celebrating 32 years of marriage.  He was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church. He also enjoyed spending his time with his family as well as going hunting and fishing. He also loved camping and teaching his children about being outdoors. He was also a very good cook, especially loving to barbeque.  He was known for being a hard worker and providing for his family. He will be deeply missed and cherished.

He is survived by his wife Justine, his kids Rachelle, Cheyenne and husband Neal, Jerry and Jordan; sister Lucinda Hunt and husband Darron; brother John Cosper and wife Heather; and sister Mary Molina. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Toni, daughter Ashley and both sets of grandparents.

Visitation will be held 9 a.m. Thursday, October 16, 2025 at the First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. with Reverend Josh Breslaw officiating. Interment will follow at the Gonzales Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Lance Tatsch, Shane Howell, Rick Tovar, Santiago Ibarra Juarez, Neal Heyano and Jesse Martinez.

Honorary pallbearers include Jerry Thomas Alfred Cosper, Dylan Hunt and Stephen Flowers Jr.
