Scott Bence

Scott Bence, 46, of Gonzales and formerly of Harlingen, passed away Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012.

He is preceded in death by his father, Leon Bence.

He is survived by his mother, Linda Bence; brother Travis (Sheila) Bence; niece Ava Bence; nephew Asa Bence; numerous other relatives; and a host of friends, including dear friends Rev. Paul and Karen Smith. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at the Monthalia United Methodist Church.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, in the Heavenly Grace Funeral Home Chapel in La Feria, with inturnment to follow in the Heavenly Grace Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Rudy Garza Funeral Home in Harlingen.
