Trisha Michelle Riedel Lawson, age 46, passed away unexpectedly on January 6, 2025, in Cheapside, TX. She was born on August 7, 1978, in Gonzales, TX, and was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, and friend. Trisha’s love for life was evident in everything she did, from her passion for beauty and fashion to the love and joy she brought to her family and friends.

Trisha is survived by her husband, Cody Waylan-Bennett Lawson; children Heavan Alexandria Lockhart, Zane Trust Archer, and Jaclyn Angelique Archer; stepson Lewis Richard Owens; grandfather Charles Baker; sister Shay Laster Harmon (husband Alex Harmon); nephew Isaac Harmon; father-in-law Harold Bennett Bowen; and numerous cousins, extended family, and friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Isabella Delilah Katherine Lawson; her mother Karen Baker Pena; father Kelley Riedel; and grandmother Dorothy Baker.

Trisha had a passion for beauty and fashion. She graduated from beauty school and enjoyed working in the industry, where she made people feel beautiful and confident and left a lasting impact on all who knew her. As a caretaker for the past eight years, Trisha touched the lives of many.

Above all, Trisha’s family meant the whole world to her. As a devoted wife to Cody, she treasured the time they spent together, from exploring new restaurants to creating cherished memories with their children, family, and friends. He will always remember how happy she was relaxing at the lake with their family—those moments brought her peace and joy. Cody is blessed to have felt Trisha’s loyalty and says he had never experienced a love like theirs before.

Trisha's love for her cats was well-known—she proudly embraced her role as a "crazy cat lady" and never missed an opportunity to care for her furry companions. Her creativity and artistic spirit were passed on to her daughters. She and Heavan loved to color pictures together,  and Jaclyn shares her mother’s drawing ability and beauty skills.  Her son Zane inherited his mother's  caregiving spirit, and she took great pride in seeing him help care for their family.

Trisha had been taking classes to learn how to support others in overcoming the struggles she had faced in her own life, seeking to turn her challenges into a source of strength for others. Her compassion and desire to help others will continue to inspire those who knew her.

Trisha’s family will fondly remember the times they spent binge-watching TV shows together, especially Halloween when she insisted on watching Monster House all month long. Her love of watching Ghost Adventures, attending concerts, and enjoying time together will forever be cherished by those who shared these experiences with her. Trisha’s friends will always remember their conversations with her and will miss hearing her laugh.
