Vance Seth Glover

Vance Seth Glover, 79, of Luling, died Saturday, November 29, 2003. He was born November 22, 1924 in Lockhart to the late Carl T. and Alma Watts Glover. He worked for Dow Chemical and was a former member of the American Legion.

Survivors include three daughters, Cheri Smith of Wimberly; Renee Zella and Robin Belsher, both of Gonzales; three sons, Randy Glover and Wesley Glover, both of Luling and James Reed of Gonzales; nine grandchildren, Brandon Zella of Stockdale, Teri Johnson, Grant Zella, Vanessa Glass, Carley Glass and Presley Belsher, all of Gonzales and Vance Smith of San Antonio, Seth Glover of Corpus Christi and Brandy Glover of Luling and five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Carl Morgan Glover and Homer Wesley Glover, both of Luling.

Funeral services were held December 2, 2003 at 2 p.m. at O'Bannon Funeral home in Luling with Rev. Randolph Robbins officiating. Burial followed at the Clearfork Cemetery in Caldwell County.

Pallbearers were Brandon Zella, Grant Zella, Teri Zella, Vance Smith, Seth Glover and Vanessa Glass.

Memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or to the charity of one's choice.

O'Bannon Funeral Home of Luling was in charge of arrangements.
