Eula Mae Erskin

Eula Mae Erskin was born March 20, 1937, to Tommy Dora and Gertrude Woods Dora in Gonzales Tx. She went home to be with the Lord February 7, 2024, at the Heights Nursing facility surrounded.by family and loved ones. She will be missed by all who knew her. She was a loving and kind person who was loved by all.

Christian woman who loved GOD, her family and her church family and friends. Eula attended Edwards High School and graduated.   During high school, she played basketball, and all sports. To know her was to love her. After graduating from high school, she was employed at Lexington Lee for many years, also at the State Farm Insurance company, and Hardcastle’s. Eula attended Providence Baptist Church as a child and accepted Christ as her savior and was baptized. She was a faithful member of Providence Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Eula Marie Erskin seven brothers, Frank Dora, Marshal Dora, Tommie Dora, Charles Dora Jimmy Dora, Jimmy Dora, Clarence Dora, Thedore Dora, three sisters, Ceola Miller, Gertrude Hansford, Lou Alice Johnson.

She Leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter Bertha Erskin (Edward Hunt) four grandchildren, La Torie Erskin of Luling Texas, Reginald Erskin of Utah, Iowa Elroy Erskin of Luling Tx. Caress Erskin of Gonzales, Tx.one great grandchild Tyshawn Erskin of Gonzales, Tx. Nieces, Nephews Cousins

And three special friends Diane Garner, Dorothy Smith, Dierlam (Trudy Dierlam).
