GFD to hold annual BBQ fundraiser

The Gonzales Fire Department will hold their annual barbecue fundraiser plate fundraiser this Sunday, Oct. 13, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Gonzales Fire Station.

This drive-thru only event includes half a chicken, giblet rice and green beans for a $12 ticket price. Money raised goes to help the department. For tickets or more information, contact any GFD firefighter.

The Gonzales Fire Department is celebrating 125 years of service this year, having been established in 1899.
