Joyce Ann Pemberton

Joyce Ann Pemberton, 87, of Richmond, formerly of Gonzales, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022.  She was born November 11, 1934 in Houston, TX the daughter of James and Ina Vera Hughes Guthrie.

Joyce worked with Mohrmann’s Drug Store from 1976 until her retirement in 2012.  She was a member of the Baptist Church and enjoyed solving “Word Find” puzzles.  Most of all she treasured time spent with her loving family.

She is survived by her sons: Russell Ray Pemberton and wife Laura of Tomball, Howell Mark Pemberton and wife Carol of Tomball and Terry Allen Pemberton and wife Cheryl of Richmond; brother James C. Guthrie of Harlingen; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Private Family Services were held.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
