Rachel Dominguez

Rachel Dominguez, 91, passed away on December 18, 2022, in Gonzalez, Texas. Rachael was born on August 28, 1931, in Smiley, Texas to Ray Andrada and Elvira Cisneros. Rachael is preceded in death by both Parents, Ray and Elvira; Daughter, Josie Dominguez; numerous Brothers & Sisters; Grandson, Mark Medina.

Left to cherish Rachel’s memory are her Husband, John C. Dominguez; Daughters,  Elisa Douglas, Violanda Villasana, Mary Lou Rhodes (Dennis), Norma Lee Chaffin (Chris), Sylvia Aleman; Grandchildren, Terry Oglesby, Shawna Medina, Michelle Medina, Raquel Villasana, Michael Villasana, Kevin C. Rhodes, Kody Shad Rhodes, Rachelle Susan Lemke, Dennis Coleman Rhodes 3^rd, Nicholas Reina, Megan Thomas, Melisa Wilson, Teran Barhight, Ashton O’Neal, Dillon Aleman, and Francesca Aleman; Great Grandchildren, Nadia Oglesby, Noah Mims,  Braxton Mark Regalado, Phoenix Medina, Kinley Rhodes, Kaelyn Rhodes, Karson Dallas Rhodes, Kambri Rhodes, Hollace Rhodes, Cole Rhodes, Hunter Lemke, Gage Reed, Zain Rhodes, Aubrey Reina, Sebastian Reina, Colton Thomas, Logan Thomas, Andy Wilson, Bradyn Mark Martinez, EJ Barhight, Dakota O’Neal, Adam O’Neal, Danika O’Neal; Brothers, Ellis Andrada, Louie Andrada, Jesse Andrada, Elias Andrada; Sisters, Alice Frogoli, Esther Uno, numerous friends and extended family members. 

Rachel was a beloved Choir Director  and member of the Efeso Baptist Church, she was a businesswomen who co-owned John & Rachel’s Produce, her favorite hobby was tending to her plants. Rachel was a loving, caring, and giving women who gave to those in need all while instilling the word and love of God to her family and those around her.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 22, 2022, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm the Efeso Baptist Church.  The Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm at Efeso Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the Smiley Latin American Cemetery.

Pastor Panfilo Laredo will be officiating with Michael Cowey assisting.
