Ronald Ford Logan, better known as Ronnie, 70, of Gonzales, Texas sadly passed away on Monday, February 13th 2023. Ronnie was born on June 3rd 1952, to Jessie Crockett (Jiggs) Logan and Emma Louise Ferrell Logan in Gonzales. He graduated from Gonzales High School in 1970. After a short stint in college, he returned to Gonzales to be with family. 

Ronnie was a jack of all trades, working various jobs throughout his lifetime, including running Harry’s Package Store, selling shaved ice and offering guided fishing tours at Choke Canyon and the Gonzales lakes. Ronnie’s passion lied in his love for the outdoors. An avid outdoorsman, Ronnie spent much of his life hunting and fishing. He was often quoted for his knowledge and expertise of the fish in Gonzales lakes. When not fishing himself, he shared his love for the craft with others. Ronnie created and managed Gonzales annual Kid Fish Tournament, engaging and connecting local youth to the outdoors. He was also a proud representative of Skeeter Boats. Ronnie will be best remembered for his adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his father, Jessie Crockett Logan, and mother, Emma Louise Ferrell Logan. He is survived by his sister, Sandra (Sandy) Logan Henrichs, brother-in-law, Stephen Henrichs, and twin nieces Jacey and Jessica Henrichs.

A Life Celebration Service will be held at 3 pm, Thursday, March 9, 2023 in Seydler-Hill Funeral Home with David Schautteet Jr officiating. Memorials may be made to the Gonzales Masonic Cemetery Association.
