Ronald Gene Hidalgo

Ronald Gene Hidalgo, 67 years old, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on June 7th. He was the son of the late Raul O. Hidalgo and Grace Rodriguez. He was born in Gonzales, Texas on April 18, 1957. He was married to Flora Stella Hidalgo and had 2 sons. He was preceded in death by his brother: Mike Hidalgo and his sister Rebecca Hidalgo.

He is survived by his wife; Flora Stella Hidalgo; his step brother Raul (Susan) Hidalgo; his step sisters Rosenda Hidalgo, Susan Hidalgo and Eloisa Hidalgo; his sons Dwayne Conrad (Irene) Hidalgo and Gregory Scott (Desiree) Hidalgo; his niece Roxie Hidalgo; his nephew Gabriel Hidalgo; his grandchildren Diego Hidalgo, Isaiah Hidalgo and Gracie Hidalgo and his step-grandsons Damian Langford and Tristen Nombrana.

We know that so many of you cared and loved Ron as he did love and care for his family and friends. We would also like to thank all the family and friends who have helped during this tough time of our lives and all the phone calls, visits and prayers that we have received. Ron will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2024 at Seydler-Hill Funeral Home with the Rosary being recited at 7 p.m.  Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
